Wade Galt
Founder & 30+ Year Beach Open Athlete
SUMMARY
I'm a self-taught open level beach volleyball player who loves helping athletes discover, fall in love with, and enjoy competing and playing.
Like most men in South East Florida who did not have high school indoor or beach volleyball, I learned from playing, getting beaten, watching the few matches on TV that came on every year, and coming back for more "lessons" from the better players.
One of the few men who will admit that the movie Top Gun got me into the sport.
PLAYING EXPERIENCE
BEACH VOLLEYBALL
I started playing beach volleyball in 1988 and won my first open tournament in 1992, at 20 years old. I've been playing ever since & still play weekly (at age 53).
INDOOR VOLLEYBALL
I've played 4 years & 5 seasons of club indoor volleyball at Wake Forest & Auburn Universities + 6 years of men's indoor volleyball at the highest level in Florida.
COACHING EXPERIENCE
I've coached youth sports (soccer, basketball, and volleyball) for over 16 years and have coached High School Beach Volleyball since 2024, when the sport became official in Collier County, FL.
I am currently the Head Beach Volleyball Coach + Indoor JV Head Coach + Varsity Assistant Indoor Coach at Barron Collier High School.
OTHER RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
My wife and I have 2 children (18 & 16), and I've been an entrepreneur for 25+ years.
I've been a business & life coach for over 25 years and hold a master's degree in mental health counseling psychology.
I truly love personal & athletic development (self & others) and am blessed to share what I've learned with awesome athletes / people.

Voted the #9 Server in the World by Volleyball Magazine.

13 Year AVP Professional in addition to winning numerous state and national tournaments.
COACHING EXPERIENCE
James has coached for decades and is sought out by those who want to improve their fundamentals, serve, footwork, mental toughness, strategy, and overall game.
Virtually every high level beach volleyball player who has come out of SW Florida has been coached by James at some time in their journey.
Meredith Morgan
College Indoor & Beach Open Athlete
SUMMARY
Meredith started playing indoor volleyball my freshman year of high school.
She played one year of indoor in college and then transitioned to the beach.
She took a few years off to have her daughter and hit the sand again in 2020.
She's played beach competitively at an open level, but now sticks to her hometown... occasionally heading elsewhere for some new competition.

Meredith has coaching indoor and beach for 10 years.
Ava Zehnder
All-Region Volleyball Athlete
SUMMARY
Ava has played volleyball for 10 years.
She played on Barron Collier High School's varsity indoor team for 4 years, finishing as the 5A state runner ups two years in a row.
She was nominated to the All-Region volleyball team in 2022 and 23, as well as being part of the elite eleven at the start of the 23 season.
She holds school records for the most career assists and most assists in a single season.
Ava was a senior when beach volleyball became a high school sport, and was nominated to the all area first team.
